January 26, 2009 - Minneapolis MN — Support Collectors, Inc. announced today that it has become registered in Georgia and is now accepting child support clients in that state. In 2009, the Georgia Legislature passed a law requiring all private child support collection agencies to become state-registered in order to provide services. “We applaud the Georgia Legislature for enacting a law that reasonably regulates private agencies and imposes stringent consumer protection requirements,” said President Tim Turner. “Being able to help parents in Georgia collect the child support they so greatly need is an important facet of Support Collectors’ national presence.”
